Tonight’s Walk

I did it, after last night’s heart attack encounter with a rattle snake, I walked that part of the trail. I walked it like a very cautious old lady, but I did it. I didn’t come back that way…..lol Going to take me a bit to walk it with confidence. Of course, I’m eyeing all fallen tree branches with suspicion.

Almost didn’t see any critters until the very last part of my walk, saw a lone deer out in the clearing. First time in about 4-5 days I’ve seen on. A few weeks ago you couldn’t help but run into them. Matt says that they like to drop their fawns at the beginning of the rains. So that is where some of them may be. Plus, I don’t know how the flash floods effect them. I saw javelina tracks in the creek and smelled them on another part of the trail, but been well over a week since I saw the pack.

But I did get some sunset/cloud pictures with my point and shoot. =)
