If you ever visit the Tucson, AZ area we highly suggest stopping at theĀ Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. It’s mostly outside so be prepared for that. We would have brought our hydro packs had we known we would be walking outside in 115F temps. (According to my Jeep)
We both really enjoyed this Museum, we walked around for about 2.5 hours and then sat in a 1 hour demonstration regarding the Gila Monster and Canyon Rattlesnake. (We think, we was falling asleep from exhaustion, not boredom)
We have some friends who are going to visit us at some point this year, and if there is time, we plan to return here with them, just be sure to go early in the morning if you go during the summer, 115F is a tad bit warm.
