  • Rolled out of bed late, really wish we had a diner nearby….hubby hasn't decided what to have, I made a "grilled" cheese. #
  • I say "grilled" cheese…because mine is much of a grilled cheese as luncheon meat sandwich with tomato and some cheese, then grilled =) #
  • Much more filling and satisfying to my tummy. #

  • Talked to dad earlier, mom is doing better, taking her meds….finally got some food in her. #
  • Spent some more time online chatting with my growing nephew….he seems to be very good at drawing and loves science & math. #
  • Now if he would care about social studies enough, he may improve his grade……lol #
  • Otherwise, I've been using the day for some me time and reading Lyndon Johnson & the American Dream #
  • LBJ was a very interesting man and during frank moments, was so far ahead of his time on race relations & understanding the frustrations. #
  • It is very interesting…..as it was noted in the book, FDR didn't do the New Deal & WWII at the same time… #
  • 'Nam took a lot of his domestic goals…..makes you wonder what he could've accomplished without 'Nam #
  • But he really truly believed that he was protecting us from communism and by not going hard at it, avoiding WWIII with China/Russia #
  • I'm about 50pages from finishing my book….that is my goal tonight, so I can attack my next book. #
