Staying Busy

Well, I have been busy working on a few personal projects that have been rolling around in my head for the last few weeks.  Our hosting company was great in helping me do what I wanted done.  I have been doing the tedious job of picture resizing, gallery making & FTPing….then having to wait on the FTPing…  I’m feeling pretty good about what I’ve gotten done.  Hopefully it will make my life easier in the future.

So I’m feeling pretty good about what I got done.  =)  My personal project made the something that has been bothering me look much better.

Now I need to get myself focus on my disaster area of my office and then I can finish playing around with my other projects.

This project was nice to get done, because I was productive and working but it was for me, it wasn’t for someone else.  I love to take time to read, but feel guilty when I have other things to do….like our check books….lol…which I really need to attack.  =)  So projects like that come in handy.

We did watch The Mummy : Tomb of the Dragon Emperor…boy that was horrible.  The replacement actress for Evelyn and the actor for Alex were just horrible.  The script didn’t help either.  Which was sad, because I really love the first two of the Mummy movies.

I can’t believe that we only have 2 BattleStar Galactica left, Sarah Connor Chronicles was ok, Real Time, just really didn’t hit it last night.

But other then that, I really don’t have much more to add…….lol

New “Site” Design

Well, I have been posting comments here and there about it and I finally got done due to the help of our hosting company. They moved the blog from the “blog” folder (the /Blog at the end of the url) to my main page, paulineantoinette.com Which works out very well since I update the blog on a more regular basis.

The blog program that I use will be used for my site of posting pictures & video.  It is much easier to update and quite frankly I suck at designing.  With using this program, there are many free designs out there and I know people that can make minor adjustments for me if need be, so I can switch it out and keep it fresh.  Which I know I drives me dad batty.  =)  I love you dad……..grin

So now my blog is the main page, I still have all the other pages that I had with my old set up just set up on here.  With the blog program I have created pages, that are listed on the top of this design.

Some of the new galleries posted, have been posted in my blog, just never updated on the site.  The picture galleries of  the cats & my walks have never been posted.

Frack, I just noticed that all my mood icons have disappeared in my admin.  =(  I know it was from this move and I can fix it, but I’m currently FTPing a big file so I can’t get to my server to fix it…..annoying.  When it is a quick fix that I can make, it annoys me when I’m prevented from doing it when I want to….icks.  Well, that is how it goes…lol

  • Home from the gym & errands, need to put up new blinds in the bedroom. Just loads of fun. =) #
  • Blinds are up, got my shower in, laundry is started, trying to get motivated for the rest of the day. #

“…Football coach Bobby Bowden would have entered the coming season with 382 career victories, trailing Penn State coach Joe Paterno by one win on the all-time list. The sanctions will force him to forfeit all wins during which ineligible students competed in 2006 and 2007.

It is not immediately clear how many wins Florida State will have to vacate…”

Ouch…

I am not a FSU fan at all, and I have never been a Bobby Bowden fan, yes he can coach/recruit but his 381 wins need a * since he had to ask the NCAA to count his 31 wins at Howard/Samford since when he was there they was at a lower level of football and for some unknown reason, the NCAA granted that request which is how he caught up with Joe Paterno so fast in total wins.

But this is what I would call karma…

They won 7 games in 2006 and 8 games in 2007, even if 1 ineligible player played in 1 play it counts as a forfeit, so this could cost Bobby 15 wins which is 1/2 of what he asked for, so he didn’t lose as much as he should/could have.

As a school FSU got hammered hard.

I am happy JoePa will retire as the all time winnest coach since he earned it, but I find it sad that Bobby will be tarnished by stupidity and greed, but he knows the game and should have kept better control over his team, he has in the past turned a blind eye too many times, so this is for sure karma.

I bet this will be Bobby Bowdens final year at FSU… He has no chance of over taking Joe Paterno in wins now and FSU for sure won’t give him the time to do it since they just got spanked by the NCAA under his watch.

  • Damn, I didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. Drew is being his nosy loving self. Never see a cat demand so much attention. #
  • Hot & sweaty from the gym, did 3.22mi in 30…can’t seem to break it & I’ve been increasing the speed, fingers crossed that I do it Fri. #
  • Everytime I want to do something, Obama is on TV & it is something that I want to hear about, no wonder why I don’t get things done on time. #
  • Just spent over an hour putting a bookcase together, worked up one hell of sweat….icks #
