First real update in a while

Not sure why I stopped posting “real” blog post’s, I know not many people read what I have to say, but I need to remember what I thought on things a few years from now, so I guess I need to start seeing this as a personal journal that just gets read by others ever so often.

5 days and counting… As I already posted I think it will be a “landslide” Electoral College wise and that is all that matters. I personally think the straight up “popular vote” where all 50 states and US territories all vote using 100% exactly the same voting methods, and you are forced to register to vote at the age of 18 just like males are for the selective service.

Palin is said to be the GOP “future” and all I can think about that is, she barely survived 6+ weeks of “vetting”, what would 4 years of “vetting” turn up?

I am still disgusted and deeply sadden how far McBush 2008 pushed McCain 2000 to the dark side of humanity.

This has been a busy week for us, Friday night we went to the “10th annual Pimps and Ho’s Bash” that raised money for Breast Cancer. I had a really good pimp outfit on and I actually had a good time, but I knew quite a few people there so it was easy to have fun.

This past Monday night we went to another Halloween party where the theme was “Ron Jeremy” and we were all to dress like him….

Ugh….

Don’t want to be Ron… don’t want to look like Ron…

But I’m a team player and I went with it, I got my sweats out, stained t-shirt and bought a long hair wig and mustache and I didn’t shave my face for a week. Unfortunately the mustache wouldn’t stick since I hadn’t shaved my face for a week and the hair was too long to get the glue to skin.

So I instead went as “Rambo Ron Jeremy” with my cameos and what have ya….

Yes, it was funnier in my head.

We also had a “Juan Jeremy”, “Dong Jeremy” and “Einstein Jeremy”

It was fun, but we hardly knew anyone, about 100 people and we knew maybe 6 or 7 but we still had fun getting to know new people as well as getting to know friends better.

We also went to Mt Larch again and went back to Multnomah Falls and had lunch, we basically just drove around for a few hours and did about 30 minutes of hiking, the wind gust on the gorge was insane, 70+ MPH gust at times and we was at Crown Point which is a wide open spot when we got drilled by the wind hard enough it almost knocked us over.

We are making a day of it tomorrow; we are going on a planned 12-13 mile hike from the 800’ elevation to the 2800 elevation and back. We will have at least 5 miles of inclined hiking from start to the halfway point, after that its downhill.

Cats are evil.

So many people are so up in arms that Obama doesn’t have “the experience” and my thought on that is they just don’t get it, it’s not always about experience, it’s about Hope and when was the last time you really had Hope in this country?

VOTE!
