Wow, I’m totally exhausted. 2 of our friends came down for SuperBowl weekend and we had a blast. We ate a lot of great food that Harold cooked, had great conversation, and got to have fun while we all yelled at the TV during the game.
WHAT A GAME!!!
It seemed going into it that the New England was going to win……..damn! What a turn around! I don’t think Eli is going to be much crap for not being like his brother. =)
I am NOT a fan of NY teams in general….can’t stand the Knicks or the Yankees, but it was fun to see the Giants win. I like teams that have good people on them. Good sportsmanship, attitudes and teamwork. So it was easy to get into pulling for the Giants when facing the “Goliath” of New England.
This SuperBowl was hard for me, because of the people on the Giants and the people on the Patriots, besides being a fan of the Patriots when they are not facing my Colts. =)
This weekend we had many late nights of talking and just visiting. After the game, they had brought their wii with them……..so we got to play that for the 1st time. That was FUN! But my body hurts, especially my arms. It is something we have to see about getting, and I’m not one for games. Thanks guys!!!
After a brief visit last night, I totally crashed out. By the end I wasn’t feeling to hot and felt sick. I’m feeling much better after some sleep, but I still have the icky feeling, which sucks. So hopefully the meds I take at night before bed keep me well.
Today I was playing major catch up today with all my online work. There was so much that I had a hard time finding where to start. But I got a bunch of it done.
Need to get a hold of the accountant 1st thing tomorrow. After doing my online job, I’m going to have to attack my other work with messages and such.
Watching ABC for the Super Tuesday results. There are so many numbers that my head is just swimming. I like it when they just sum it up so I know were everyone stands. It is harder with the Dems since most of the primaries are not winner take all, which is how I believe it should be but boy does it make it harder to figure out where everyone stands. Thankfully McCain is doing well.
What I thought was the coolest thing that gives me hope that this country is finally moving more out of its racism is that Obama did extremely well with white males in Georgia. Several pundits said that a few years ago you wouldn’t have seen that.
On the subject of the candidates, here is an interesting article on McCain : What These Eyes Have Seen
A reminder of the cost of WWII:
Death photo of war reporter Ernie Pyle found
**There are things all around central Indiana, including a building at the Indiana Veterans Home, named for him. So I have a natural interest in his contributions. Here is his info on wikipedia : Ernie Pyle
