Yesterday was sunny, very clear and beautiful, of course, I woke up not feeling well. =( My head was just horrible feeling. I think it was because I did a quick run to the store Thursday evening and didn’t wear a hat. It was much chillier and windier, so that wasn’t a smart thing to do. So I didn’t go for my walk. =(
Today I feel much better, but it is rainy. Which really doesn’t make that much of a difference for walking, but when I go walking I like to bring a camera and see what I can catch. I don’t have that good of an eye to catch things when it is grey out.
I do think my break from the walk has helped my shins. Harold’s mom says that her shins hurt when she walks faster then normal, so I think it mine my be caused by that and the concrete of the sidewalks.
I was feeling a little better when I went to check the mail. So I grabbed Harold’s camera to see if I could get better pictures. They came out very well, I just need to remember to grab the zoom next time. =)
Mountains are so big, that the only thing that changes is the stuff in front of them. So it better much ends up being the same picture of it even though you moved a 100 ft to the left. In this set I left the pictures as they were originally taken and then cropped them, so the focus is more on the peak. The picture of the housing is just to show how far we live from where I took the pictures. We are about 500ft from it.
Last German WWI veteran dies at 107
**This is just sad how he was not even noticed. Then his death was overshadowed by the story of how Germans treat their history. But it is hard to imagine how to handle a history such as Germany’s. At the same time the majority of Americans ignore or do not wish to be educated about what we as a country did to the Native Americans or African Americans.
