Well, I finally received my stamps that ordered. As I look at the dates, I can see why it took so long. I ordered them on the 7th (Thursday) in the evening, they didn’t process the order until the 9th (Saturday) so of course they couldn’t send it out until the 11th (Monday). The priority mail took the 3 days that it was suppose to, but when you order things from a government entity they have hours worst then bankers. =(

But the good thing is that all my cards are finally mailed!

I called mom & dad to let them that I shipped the presents Monday. Going by the tracking number that they should receive it by Saturday. =)

Right now I’m making my to do lists. I’m a big list person. It helps to keep me focus to get things done, otherwise I drift and never remember what I’m doing. Which is not good, especially when I got a ton of things to do around work.

So speaking of things to do, I better get at it.

Thankfully all of my shopping is done!! Hot diggy damn! The only thing I may have left to do is get a little something for our postman, garage guys and recycle guys. But I did get the package to my family mailed off. So that was a relief. =)

I still haven’t received my stamps………..I knew I should’ve ordered them weeks ago but keep putting it off. =( Once I get them in, then I can mail off my cards.

Now I need to find time to balance the check books……….icks

I love this time of the year, I always have. It was the one time of the year that my sister and I didn’t fight as much. I love the decorations and lights that everyone puts up……so pretty, so sparkly….. My family use to go driving just to see what everyone has put up. I have a lot of great happy memories from when I was a kid.

I love getting presents (who doesn’t) but my favorite thing is getting presents for people that I love. I really love the season of giving and caring. I hate how the bible thumpers have twisted things where people don’t see past all the hatred and narrow mind ness of organized religion that we have in this country.

Sometimes my enthusiasm seems to over whelm people, when all I’m doing is enjoying myself. =( I think I just have one of those personalities that is all over the place sometimes. I wonder if I should give up on this time of the year and treat as any other day; I just don’t know if I can.

Time to start wrapping up, need to head to bed soon.

I hope everyone is keeping their sanity with the holidays upon us. I almost got all the xmas shopping done. I just have 1-2 more things to pick up. I hope to be able to send my package to my folks with all the presents Tuesday……fingers crossed. I got all our online stuff ordered.

Damn! I just went to check to mail and my stamps aren’t in…..gggrrr I knew I should’ve ordered them sooner then I did.

We went and saw the shuttle take off from the beach Saturday. It was so cool. The sky light up a bright orange. We waited 30some minutes for it go. It was a once in a lifetime thing. =)

I had something cool happen to me the other day.

I had gentleman come into work the other day wearing an Ohio State jacket. And I asked them if they are going all the way and are going to win the championship. So we got talking about Big Ten and I told him that I hope Florida gets smashed……grin And that I’m a fan of all the Big Ten schools except when they are facing my Purdue. He then turned around and gave me the buckeye that he was carrying in his pocket for the big game!! That was so cool! I now have it on my desk. =)

The Colts lost. =( But I can add go Drew! go Drew! go Drew! I loved the fact that the Saints killed the Cowboys……..grin

Alright, I need to get going, I have a ton of stuff to get done before work. =)
