Quick Hello

Morning everyone!

Sorry I haven’t felt like writing much.

Just been working & feeling a little burnt out, so I’ve been re-reading the last 2 Harry Potters. Finished it up yesterday. Didn’t take me long since it was re-read, but I saw a few things that I missed the 1st time around in number 6. Now if she would just hurry up & get number 7 out. =)

I’ve been riding my bike to work more, even during the later shifts. Harold doesn’t like the thought of me out after dark, so when I ride on those shifts he meets me on his bike afterwards & ride home together. The ride is getting easier & it feels good to get a “routine” of exercise in somewhere. We went out and got us a back light & headlight for our bikes, since some areas we ride through can be pitch black.

Cheryl took a mini-vacation, needed to use some of her time up before she losses it. It has not been too bad at work, just throws me off when we have visiting managers from other stores. I’ve been trying to go through apps to get us some more folks, but that can be tedious.

Need to jump in the shower & get ready for work…..have fun.

We Lost…huh?… we won?? WE WON? HOLY SMOKE WE WON!!!

Yes it is true, after 6 straight losses’ we beat a good Michigan St team 28-21 at Purdue. The way Purdue played today team wise is what I expected we would play like on our worse game this year, but it turns out it was the best of the year.

Typical Purdue crap at the end of the first half, we control the clock, good play after good play and inside the 10 with 20 seconds left the QB gets drilled, he fumbles, MSU recovers, runs it 10 yards, get striped, Purdue almost has it, MSU recovers and runs for a TD. I swear this sort of thing ONLY happens to Purdue. So instead of 21-14 Purdue at half it was 21-14 MSU, but we shut them out in the second half for the win. He best we can hope for is 5-6 this year, no bowl game for the first time in 8 years. Ill and IU are left and then we wait for next September.

NW beat Iowa with a great comeback and looks like Penn St is beating Wisc. I love the “ESPN Plus” for Football games, $19.95 for a weekend worth of NCAA Football. I only buy it when I need it which is when Purdue is on PPV and now I get to have a wider choice of games to watch, I had ND/UT on but ND was killing them then I turned to FSU/NCST and got bored so now it’s Penn St/Wisc and it is now PSU 21-0 in the 2nd.

Colts at Pats Monday Night… Let’s see if we can get the monkey off our back and beat NE there, and the way our D is playing I think we can.

GO HORSE!

Change of Routine

I work only about 4 miles away. With the temps finally cooling, price of gas & needing some exercise……..I decided to bike to work sometimes.

Today was my 1st day for it. Just trying to get my time adjusted on leaving home and arriving in time. It was different (having to have a change of clothes and all that fun stuff) but good.

As long as it doesn’t rain tomorrow, I’ll do it again. =)

Our Night

Tonight we watched Star Wars: ROTS on DVD, I Love that movie! We also got Batman Begins, a total killer movie, best of all, but that isn’t saying much at all when compared to the others, and actually, it was one of the better movies I’ve seen in a long while, great story, characters and action.
