Weekend Update

Just spent the weekend working. I didn’t feel like I was really with the program.

I actually took time and read some fiction, (Harry Potter : Goblet of Fire). I haven’t read it in years and I couldn’t remember what it was about. Felt good to escape reality for awhile. Debating whether or not to re-read the “Order of the Phoenix”. That one has some annoying things about it (his constant anger…….150-200 pages of unneccessary details)…….but it would be good to read it again & then re-read the “Half-Blood Prince”. Maybe I could pick up some more details. =)

When, I’ve had a long day and going to get myself off to bed soon.

Night

Another Day

For my day off, I had one of those days were you don’t get the time to get what you wanted done, cuz the one thing you got done took a heck of a lot longer then it was suppose to do. =( Lets just say I didn’t get to enjoy my day off & it was beautiful out. =(

Lets hope today goes better, even if I’m taking off for work.

Today is Harold & my 12 anniversity to getting together……….going on 13yrs now….wow, time has flown.

We survived

Wilma didn’t do crap to us, nothing more then a tropical storm here, but it really fmessed up Ft Lauderdale and Miami and south FL. We have a lot of friends down there who may not have power for a month, and I still cant get a hold of them on their cells, so I in the dark on their situation.

Pillsbury Dough Boy Died today

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin.

Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.

Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

***Found on a board………………lol

Dang!!

Harold picked “Batman Begins” the other day & we just got done watching it……….Dang!! It was great! The best of all the Batman movies. Really developed the Bruce Wayne character.

Batman is my favorite of “super hero” characters. Cuz he is human, his mind is his power. I’ve always loved the dark, dangerous, but good guy characters & he is the ultimate example of it.

I so hope that, if they make another, that they maintain the diginity of the development of the characters. Maybe that they learned after they screwed up that last Batmans and with Xmen & Spiderman doing great by sticking with the true developement that they won’t mess with this one.

One can only hope. =)
